The Philly POPS is excited to announce our 6th annual bike drive to benefit local children of members in the military, Philadelphia Police Department, and Philadelphia Fire Department.

This annual tradition is a part of our Christmas in July press conference which announces the on-sale date for tickets to the Philly POPS’ beloved Christmas concert series.

The POPS is delighted to give back to honor the service and commitment of those who have sacrificed to protect our country and local communities. In coordination with Comcast NBCUniversal, NationalHR, and a number of private donors, we would like to give away 300 bikes—triple the number donated last year—to local children.

With your help, we can reach our goal. For a small donation of $150, a local child will receive a new bicycle and helmet at the Christmas in July ceremony. Your donation will help underwrite the cost of a new bike, helmet, assembly and delivery.

This is sure to be an exciting day! Expect a holiday atmosphere with Santa Claus, carolers, POPS musicians performing and remarks from dignitaries from the military and the city of Philadelphia. Can we count you in?
