As the POPS ushers in this exciting new season, we dedicate tonight to Robert “Bob” Green, Chairman of Greenwood Racing, Inc. (GRI).

Parx Casino® and Racing, one of Greenwood Racing’s holdings, has been a valued partner since The Philly POPS 2013 Season. Apart from their support to the beginnings of the Salute Series, they frequently present The Philly POPS BIG Band at its Xcite Center and, most importantly, they serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Subscription Series. Without this extraordinary generosity, the POPS’ noteworthy growth would not have been possible.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Mr. Green has made Philadelphia his home since 1989 and has revolutionized the state’s approach to gaming and entertainment. In Pennsylvania, GRI has made significant capital investment and has created thousands of new jobs.

The Philly POPS raises a glass to Bob — an innovator, music lover, and dear friend.
